Did you know?
Based on our experience, we have summarised 5 tips for vibrating concrete stronger and more compact:
- Make sure that the area you are vibrating has not already been vibrated by another worker.
- Submerge the vibrator head fully into the concrete and hold it there for 5-15 seconds.
- Don’t tum on the vibrator until the tip is fully submerged.
- Pull up the vibrator at an average rate of no more than 3 inches per second.
- Overlap the previous radius of vibration every time you insert the vibrator. A good rule of thumb is that the radius of action is four times the vibrator tip diameter.

Betonelli Vibrating Pokers
The Series of Immersion Concrete produces high frequency vibration allowing for the efficient compaction of low slump concrete mixes. The epicyclical design of the vibrator range generates high frequency vibration with low flex shaft speed, the low speed of both the flex shaft and vibrator motor results in longer service life. The rotor generating the vibration is supported by heavy duty self-aligning bearing and executes a pendulum motion. Vibration is greatest at the tip of the vibrator head.
